Over the last 25 years, Jodi Scholes has put her hands on over 20,000 bodies. She has a deep understanding of the causes of pain and how to heal. She shares that knowledge as a full-time speaker and educator.
In her wildly popular talk, ‘Our Pain Tells A Story’, Jodi reveals how pain is actually a messenger. She gives example after example of clients from her own practice who had stubborn chronic pain patterns. Clients that finally healed by listening to the story their pain was telling them.
Jodi was the massage therapist for DC United, Major League Soccer (1996-2004) Following that she worked as the massage therapist for several US Track and Field athletes traveling to many Olympic trials and World Championships of Track & Field. (Finland 2007, Japan 2005) Jodi maintains a small private practice. She loves the work. She has been named Business Person of the Year by the Vienna/Tysons Chamber of Commerce, Chapter Meritorious by the Virginia Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association and she is most proud of being voted Rotarian of the Year in 2018 by the Rotary Club of Vienna.
Her practice became a model for other Licensed Massage Therapists to use to grow their practice. After selling the business, she offers group and one to one coaching. Jodi’s 7 step program uses her real life experience -with plenty of mistakes- to guide massage therapist business owners to grow their practice over the million dollar mark, make a profit and not lose their mind doing it.
When not engaging people with her wildly popular TedX talk, Jodi coaches massage clinic owners to feel in control of their business. She enjoys biking and swimming for fitness and splits her time living between Virginia, New Hampshire and Florida.
